lassa fever? That's one of the focus of the Dr. Chris Mbata led Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of  Nigeria,  Rivers State branch in their well publicized Biomedical week which commenced in Port-Harcourt on June 12.
The erudite and ageless Prof. Dennis Agbonlahon was invited to do justice to the topic.
Kudos to the people's chairman and his crew who are doing great steering the ship of the Association in Rivers State.


Sorrow In The Land As AMLSN Mourns Taiwo Lamidi
The announcement of his name in the manifest of the victims of the Dana plane crash was shocking
and sobering. Taiwo Lamidi lived as a committed Medical Laboratory Scientist who abhors injustice. He took the flag of the profession wherever he went and was well known for his progressive unionism.
The loss was great and most associates are yet to recover from the loss. So are the members of this forum. As we accept his demise with great sympathy to his family, we say may his soul rest in peace.
