The increased public awareness and demand for high quality medical laboratory services has put a lot of responsibilities at the doorstep of senior officers in the profession whose skills must be improved with increased capacities and capabilities so as to live up to their responsibility.  It is for this reason

the Gombe State branch of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria held a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) workshop recently on foundation of leadership in the laboratory for medical laboratory scientists.  Feelers from the workshop indicates impressive turnout and participation.
