Association Of Medical Laboratory Scientists Of Nigeria Gets Set For 2016 Annual Scientific Conference

Between October 12-17, 2016, the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria will be hosting her annual scientific conference and AGM at PortHarcourt, Rivers State.  Mr. Tam Adetunji Adeyeye is the Secretary, National Organizing secretary. In the same vein, Mr. Oni Nelson is the PRO, Rivers State branch of the Association.  They both speak about the state of readiness for the conference in a recent on-line hookup. Enjoy...

NOC Secretary
'Preparations are in top gear. All our resource persons are set and ready to go.  In fact the keynote speaker ( Prof. Oluwafemi Oguntibeju) of the University of Technology, Cape Penninsula, South Africa has confirmed his readiness to grace the occassion.  It's worthy of note that this is the second time in recent years that we are having a keynote speaker outside the shores of Nigiera.
Members should expect an all inclusive conference at ROP.  Aside the regular sessions, there will be WALK TO LIVE and Special Syndicate Session with students and Deans/HODs of Universities running BMLS programs.  Members will also have the opportunity to collaborate with foreign Universities on different research proposals through the keynote speaker.  Members should prepare for the best of times in the ancient city of the oil rich State come 12-17th of Oct., 2015.'

'Well by the grace of God, we are doing our best to the best of our abilities to present a befitting and the best organized conference of International Standard since the inception of AMLSN.  All participants should be expecting well organized and best publicized annual conference.  In terms of registration, we are fully prepared to make sure we register on-line those who pay for early bird registration before others who pay later.  As they arrive, they will pick up conference materials on presentation of their Bank Teller .


Accommodation
As you can see in the 2nd fliers, some hotels has been highlighted ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 per night depending on our purses.  Security wise, adequate preparation is on course.  We shall make use of the Nigerian Army, the  Nigerian Police, Civil Defense and other paramilitary organizations.  Our safety is assured.
