MLS in Nigeria has be called upon by AMLSN President, Dr. G.C. Okara to use their pen to prosecute the on-going faceoff with Pathologists Instead of lamenting over misrepresentation of facts by the
 doctors, MLS has been urged to write rejoinders to any article written by any doctor or Association.


Battle Of The Press-AMLSN UCH Takes ARD To The Cleaners
The purile attempt by the ARD chairman in UCH to discredit the facts and figures revealed to the Nigerian Tribune by AMLSN chapter in UCH has shown the naivity of the average Nigerian doctor especially in recent times. The defence written by Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu, ARD President, UCH, published by the Tribune on wednesday left much to be desired as it was full of idiotic dogmatism and self aggradisement.

Reacting to earlier post by soji Biliyose, a call has come from Nzekwe Okafor to mls be cautious about setting Dr. G.C. Okara against Dr. Bassey his opponent at the Makurdi election. He believes unity is much more needed now to prosecute the profession's emancipation.


'UCH ARD President Is Naive'-Dr. Ezekiel Akande
In a classical reation to the artilce written by UCH's ARD President, another medical doctor, Dr. Akande has dismissed the submission as naive. In his words 'I am a physician, graduated from the same UCH in 1986 and have been practicing in the US for the past twenty years'.
He further submitted that, Dr. Nwachukwu's write up is polarising and didn't address issues raised by the MLS. He emphasised the team work nature of the health team though the medical doctor is
 more visible and takes the credit for success of the team.  He went further to say 'The politics of Dr. Nwachukwu's write up is what I don't understand'.'Nwachukwu's submission is naive'.
He finally concluded that 'A broader exposure will help him to change his mind. I think UCH doctors are obligated to support the strike action or better still help with its resolution'.

If Dr. Akande's comment on the article written by Dr. Nwachukwu to hide obvious facts about the recent strike is an eye opener, then the subsequent rejoinder delivered by MLS Afolabi Sylfad is a

killer punch.  The cerebral Sylfad in his rebuttal exposed the deception of the public by the said Dr. Nwachukwu in his previous article. It is too loaded to be discountenanced. Watch out for it in the Nigerian Tribune. The future is here!
