officers in September during the 50th Annual General Meeting, the electoral committee has released
a tentative list of aspirants screened for vacant posts.
The list shows that three candidates are penciled down for presidential contest where Dr. B.E. Bassey, Alj. T.Y. Raheem and Dr. Olabode are leading contenders.

Nanbol Abandons PRO Aspiration, Picks It Up Again
In politics, intrigues, mudslinging and surprises are never

A member of the F.G.'s response team on Ebola outbreak and an
astute MLS, Mr. Abiodun Oguniyi has called on health workers
not to panic or get scared especially by events of the
few days after the first case was reported in Nigeria. This
call was made in a recent post in the forum to check
misinformation flying about in recent times.
He emphasized the need to religiously adhere to safety
precautions in the laboratory as professionals. This he
ascerted is the guaranteed antidote to control the disease.
'MLSCN On Top'-Yakubu Abdulsalam
The Asst. Secretary of AMLSN and former P.A. to past AMLSN
President, Mr.Yakubu Abdulsalam has told anxious MLS to stay
calm on the news of the purported withdrawal of the CBN
circular on IVD's regulation in Nigeria, a major demand of
NMA in its on-going strike.
He assured MLS that MLSCN is already on top of the situation as
the council has been consolidating on the arrangement for
regulating IVD's through inter-agency collaboration.
'Time For Action, YMLS Urged'. Imiegbari Adawari
A young MLS, Imiegbari Adawari has called upon his
colleagues nationwide to act now in order to secure
a robust future for themselves.
This was made in relation to the upcoming election at
the September conference in the Sunshine city of Ondo State.
